Brickrend is an attractive and cost-effective finish, suitable for projects where brickwork cannot be used but the desired effect is still achieved. A base layer of render is applied first, followed by a second, brick coloured layer. By using a special cutting tool, brick joints are then cut into the top layer, revealing the base render and creating a brick façade.

For a harder wearing finish, a brick tile can be used and the joints pointed to create a more natural looking finish.
